To further strengthen the strategic cooperation between our university and Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Co., Ltd., and to implement the "enterprise visit and collaboration" initiative, on May 27th, our university invited a delegation from Yangzi Petrochemical Research Institute, including Chen Shaohui, the Party Secretary and Dean, and Bao Jiye, the Deputy Chief Engineer, for collaborative discussions. Gu Xuehong, the Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering, Ji Qingchun, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Pan Yichang, the Vice Dean, and some faculty representatives attended the meeting.

Dean Gu Xuehong welcomed the delegation led by Dean Chen Shaohui on behalf of the school. She introduced the basic situation of the school from several aspects such as the history of the school, the faculty team, talent cultivation, and the characteristics of industry-university-research cooperation. Vice Dean Pan Yichang presented an overview of the school's research and social service activities, and participating teachers introduced their respective technical achievements.

Dean Chen Shaohui introduced the basic situation and research achievements of Yangzi Petrochemical Research Institute. He emphasized that the development plan of Yangzi Petrochemical Research Institute aligns closely with the research direction of the School of Chemical Engineering. With a good foundation for cooperation, he expressed the hope to further strengthen cooperation and exchange with the School of Chemical Engineering in areas such as party branch co-construction, talent cultivation, industry-university-research collaboration, and technology transfer, aiming for mutual benefit and win-win cooperation.

This activity is of great significance for further strengthening the strategic cooperation between the university and Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Company, consolidating the achievements of cooperation, and promoting talent cultivation, technology transfer, and the employment of graduates.
